Change illustrated with partly eclipse of the moon

Welcome to 2010, the last year in the first decennium or the first year of the second decade (as you prefer) of the first century in the third mellennium.

Shalom Jorgen, nice to see your blog, first time.
Hey, how did you get TWO moons?? 🙂

I saw the eclipse from Israel last night, but only one moon.
Greetings of happy new year from Jerusalem.

  1. A stunning photograph. You must have an amazing camera, eye for detail, and sense of timing!

  2. Excellent interpretation of the theme. Happy New Year to you from Vermont, USA.

  3. Thank you for the good wishes and comments.
The photo of the moon was taken with zoom and blitz. I don't know why there are two moons, but the question leads to a connection to the blitz – may be this is a kind of rainbow-effect.
I have uploaded 3 more photos to flickr in the moon-set.

  4. Excellent and different exposition of the theme, and a very nice photograph.
