Some times of the year things are “on sale”. In danish it is “udsalg”. Now “sale” is very often used instead. I don’t see why this word should be better. May be it isn’t enough – I have now seen “Power Sale”. What do you think?

My wife is a "power sale shopper!" The problem is that she believes, "the more you buy on sale, the more you save…."
These are simply words. Have you ever heard from "Winterschlussverkauf"? Now it is called "Sale" too. What a pity!
"Udsalg" sounds better to me.
