As you see, I have written RED with green color. This is a kind of contraditory communication without internal consistency. Do you percieve the letters first? Or the color?
To solve the problem you have to make a socalled negative afterimage. If you don’t know how to do, please take a white paper, write x at it, then fixate exactly the center of E keeping a steady gaze for 30 seconds and shift fixation quickly to the x at the white paper which should be placed in good light.
Now RED should be red – and that is the theme of the day.
It's a very nice idea. And very psychologic. It's a hard nut to crack for my poor brain.
What about folk with Daltonism?
LOL! Reminds me of the Helvetica sign set in Garamond. Or is that something only rabid typographers and graphic artists would understand? 😉

Tried the experiment and the letters on the white paper were pinkish red. Don't people with colour blindness see red as green.

I noticed the green color first. Try this cool thing I created a few years ago.
Thank you for all the comments. When I got the idea of red-green, I din't think about red-green colorblindness. People with that kind of colorblindness percieve red and green alike. I guess they will see the complementary color of the percieved if they follow the instructions.
